Prayer Meeting – For the honor of God and health of the church and community we are going to hold prayer meetings each month.  Now I do not know what your experience with prayer meetings might have been.  I am guessing that some of you never attended a prayer meeting and some may have attended them years ago and thought they were a little repetitive and boring.  Would you do yourself a favor and set aside anything that might prohibit you from joining with others in the important ministry of prayer.  Remember that in the Scriptures God relates to us that things happen “ ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” (Zechariah 4:6).  It is our blessed privilege to lift up prayers to the throne of grace where the Almighty God can hear our pleas. 

Prayer Meetings are held at the church on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 6: 30 p.m.

If you would like someone to pray with you Sunday before you head out into the activities of the day, please come to the front of the church following the service, or talk with someone wearing a Prayer Ministry pin. We all stand in the need of prayer.

Prayer Requests are published in the weekly bulletin as well as phone numbers for our church prayer chain. We welcome names or issues to be added to the prayer list. Please submit requests in writing or by calling the church office during the week after you have received approval from the people mentioned, including how it should be written. This is done in order to respect the individual's privacy.
