Church Picnic

The Fellowship committee asked for suggestions for activities last fall and Camrin & Zach Dieke asked that we have a picnic at a playground! So children of our church family....children of all ages.... we are having a church-wide family picnic, at your request!

When: May 18^th, Saturday
Where: Community Park (just south of the church), W. 2^nd & Main St.
Time: 6:00 p.m.

Drinks, paper plates, napkins and plastic dinnerware will be provided.

A sign-up sheet for food will be on the back bulletin board (in the narthex), by the first of May. Start thinking of your favorite ‘picnic food’!! Please put this date your calendar. Invite a friend to the Saturday evening service and then come on over for the picnic!

**The pavilion has been reserved prior to our time, so we may not be able to actually start setting up in the pavilion until 5:30p.m.. However, the park is open to all, so bring your children earlier than 6:00 p.m. to enjoy playing prior to ‘picnicking‘.

Kid's Hope Field Day and Graduation

We will be wrapping up our 6^th school year at Emerald Elementary school the week of May 20.

Fifth grade graduation lunch will be at 11:00 on May 20th.

Field Day is May 13 & rain day May 14 in the afternoon

Vacation Bible School - KINGDOM ROCK

June 3-7 8:30-11:30 for preschool – entering 5^th grade. Middle school age through adult needed for leadership positions. We have an amazing week planned with Bible stories, crafts, experiments, pumping music, and more. Bring friends, no cost, donations welcome! Our VBS program is big and is always a great week for all, and reaching our community.

Be looking for our donation castle in the lobby for items needed to support VBS. Just grab a tag, and return by the due date. Your donations are greatly appreciated. We will also be selling Kingdom Rock CD’s for $7.00.

Mission Trip Fundraiser

June 9:  Breakfast Burritos for mission trip in the lobby and preschool kitchen from 9:00-12:00.  Details for assembly line soon.

Kid's Hope Party at the Bay

As sad as we are to see the school year end, we know the kids are excited for our end of year pizza party at the Bay which is June 14 4:00-8:00.
Mentors please bring fruit or a dessert to share. This is a great time to connect with the families for future plans. Thank you mentors and prayer partners for an amazing year of being Jesus with skin on!!

Dinner with the President

Dinner with David Staahl, Kids Hope USA President & author will be held on August 20 at 6:00:pm at Rinn Methodist in Erie. Carpool and further details with Susan. 303-875-6882

Youth Mission Trip

The Youth Mission Trip will be June 23-30 to the Pineridge Indian Reservation. They will be staying at the Pineridge Presbyterian Church, bringing VBS to the children, paint projects, and various activities. This will be an amazing life experience for us all!

The cost of mission trip will be $150.. A $50 deposit is needed by May 19th for each youth to save a spot.
