The Ministry team includes the Personnel Committee which oversees staffing needs. This year the dual role of Ministry Elder and Clerk of Session was separated into two positions. Lee Ann Krigbaum is the Clerk of Session and Amy Davis became the second full time Ministry Elder. Andy Carter was recognized for his years of service in the dual role.

The Personnel Committee also coordinates nominating committee activities, updates job descriptions, updates the Personnel Policy Manual, updates employees files, developed a plan for staff supervision, assisted in the staff performance reviews and developed the job description for the Children's Ministry leader postion.

The church staff includes both paid and volunteer positions. The work of the congregation could not continue without the valuable time many spend working on various committees, teaching classes, helping with work around the building, etc. We are very grateful for the expertise and time those individuals continue to contribute to the work of the church.

Per Capita Tax Reminder - our church pays a per capita tax on each member each year to cover the administration expenses of the Presbytery, Synod, and General Assembly. this year the Presbytery of Plains and Peaks approved the the Presbytery's 2008 per capita tax to be $32.69. The church offering envelope boxes include a special blue envelope specifically for your per capita gift. Thank you for seeing that this vital part of the expense of being a church is covered.

Planning for the Future

The Session has done some brainstorming with various committees and created a Wish List of items that our church will need in the future. The items on the list are costly and our thoughts are that members may give toward any item on the list as they are able to, or they could include funds for an item as a bequest. This list is a work in progress. If you have something you would like to have added, please let Andy Carter or another Elder know so that we can bring it before the Session. Bare in mind that any gift given needs Session approval. If a giver wishes to remain anonymous their wish will be honored.
