What it is:

ServingNetwork.com is a wonderful way for you to connect with truely needy folk in our community to supply them with items or services that you would like to offer in the name of Jesus Christ.

ServingNetwork.com provides a focused way for you to give your items, skills and time to our city’s under resourced families.  We do this by screening all needs through our city’s excellent social service agencies. 

The Problem

You want to make a difference in the lives of under resourced families.  You have many items you don’t need and skills that you’d be willing to provide IF you knew the need was real and you could offer your service in a safe and meaningful way.  You’d rather your resources make a tangible difference rather than ending up for sale in a thrift store. 

On the flip side,  social service agencies work every day and in great detail with under resourced people. They are trained professionals who offer many resources, but often need a specific item or service at a given time.  (ie, a single mother needing a crib or an elderly person needing some errands run etc.) 

How it works:  

You’ll post your item or service, along with details and your contact information and Serving Network will save it in a secure online database.  Local agencies and case managers will be able to access the resources in a craigslist style format and will contact you if they have a client needing your item or service.  The Case Manager will co ordinate delivery and safe connection and will follow up with a phone call after your donation.  Thanks for being part of Serving Network!
